EFT Tapping for Tax Day Tension

Even though most of us in the US have finished filing taxes for last year, today is the traditional cut-off day for when the IRS requires them to be paid. There is a certain amount of tension in the air around certain businesses, and especially among accountants burning the late night oils to finish clients’ cases even if they turned their details in late.

So, EFT tapping is a wonderful way to clear the air… between your ears… if you are feeling stressed around Tax Day. Here are some sample set-up statements that you might consider using:

Start by tapping the Karate Chop Point (or  massage Sore Spots if this is a deep issue for you), and choose a set-up or several with which you resonate.

1- “Even though I feel this tension around paying and filing taxes,… I deeply & completely accept myself.”

2- “Even though I hate the hassle of filing these taxes and paying money to the IRS,… I deeply & completely accept myself… and intend to be a good citizen by playing along with the rules.”

3- “Even though focusing on all of the details of filing taxes is very stressful to me,… I know that I do the best that I can do,… and I allow myself to let go of this stress and tension.”

4- “Even though I feel stressed to get this right so that I won’t be audited,… I deeply & completely accept myself,… and I’m doing the best that I can to do it right.”

5- “Even though I’m feeling stressed by the money I owe for taxes for last year,… I deeply & completely accept & love myself.”

6- “Even though I’m frustrated with myself for waiting until the last minute to file taxes,… I deeply & completely accept myself just as I am,… and I know that I can break that old pattern if I so desire.”

7- “Even though I have an old pattern of waiting until the last minute and getting stressed out,… I deeply & completely accept myself,… and I choose to let go of this pattern now. This pattern is detrimental to me. This pattern causes me stress. I am allowing myself to let go of this pattern – NOW!”

10- “Even though I’m nervous about when I’ll receive my tax refund,… I deeply & completely accept myself,… and I accept Divine Timing.”

I hope these help you to dispel your stress around this occasion!
